The transformative power of gratitude.

Yesterday I was feeling down and I asked God what I could do regarding all the challenges in my life. I had been feeling heavy and suffocated by what I observed my life to be like. To which I then heard God start speaking. The words were words I did not initially expect.

God: Be grateful. For the air you breathe, the water You drink, the food You eat and the ability to think.

There are many things to be grateful for, even in hard times.

I advise You to look at your basic necessities, are they there? Yes? Good. Now be grateful.

Me: What exactly should I be grateful for other than what You listed?

God: The Birds.

Me: The Birds!

God: Everything.

Be grateful for your amazing family, the beautiful sunsets. The fact that You are not a slave. You are free. There is always a reason to be grateful. You move into gratitude when You realize You have so much more than You realize.

You have health. YOU HAVE ME.

Me: Oh my gosh, you’re so right, I have You. I have GOD! Why didn’t I see it this way before? I’m so sorry

God: Your apology shows progress. You have me everywhere You go and look. How then, can You lack anything? I AM EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTHING ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I am your light. The light that lays upon your eyes so that You can see anything at all. So be grateful your eyes work, You are not blind, neither spiritually nor on the form level. You have grown, I am very proud my dear one. You’re upset because You do not know who You really are. For if You knew You and I were one…never would You be sad. Instead every day would be a celebration of your grand wholeness.

Me: Thank You so much!

God: Thank You, for your time and energy. I am spotting changes in your thinking. You are becoming wiser.

Me: All thanks to You of course THANK YOU SO MUCH.

God: Wisdom leads to perfection. Therefore it can be said, I am THE GRAND WISE ONE. And no need to thank me, however I must say Of course my wonderful Angel, You are most welcome into my life. Whenever You feel again, like your life has become darkness, don’t forget there is always something to be grateful for.
